Albert Joe Suarez (born October 8, 1989 in Bolivar or San Felix, Venezuela) is a minor league baseball starting pitcher currently on the Tampa Bay Rays active roster.
Suarez began his professional career in 2008, playing for the Princeton Rays and going 0-2 with a 3.92 ERA in 11 games (nine starts). In 2009, he pitched for the Hudson Valley Renegades, going a combined 1-0 with a 2.79 ERA in two starts. He pitched for the GCL Rays and Bowling Green Hot Rods in 2010, going a combined 2-5 with a 3.38 ERA in 15 games (14 starts).[1]
